At 26%, female fat distribution remains gynoid: hips, glutes, and thighs hold a larger share than the arms or face. The abdomen is softly rounded in profile. Abs are not visible. The waist is thicker than at 22% on the same person. Facial fullness is normal. This is a common result. Photographs in this band look like ordinary active adults. The step from 24% is slight. The step from 18% is a different category of midsection and hip pad. Training history still shows in shoulder and glute muscle, which can make two 26% scans look unrelated in jeans. Lighting will not produce abdominal etching that the fat layer does not allow. The scan is a ratio; height and frame size still set clothing size.
