At 28%, male fat storage is plainly central: abdomen, love handles, and lower back dominate the outline. Muscle landmarks on the midsection are hidden. The chest often has a distinct fat component. Arms look smooth. The face is full. Legs are thick without definition. This is a common composition in general adult male populations, especially with age, though age is not recorded on every card in this index. Shirt-on, the waist is the main fit issue. Shirt-off, there is little regional contrast except where muscle mass is unusually high in the shoulders. The difference from the mid-20s is more tissue in the same places rather than a new pattern.
